About Namushasha River Campsite: Really become engrossed in the wonders of the wild Namibian at your very own campsite along the Kwando River at Namushasha River Campsite. Bwabwata National Park is right on your doorstep, and Mudumu National Park is just around the corner, so you can look forward to ample game drive opportunities. Namushasha River Campsite offers a special boat cruise on the Kwando River into Bwabwata National Park, where you can then hop on a custom 4×4 to search out the game. Buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife await. Return to camp and have hot shower and a hearty braai right at your campsite after a dreamlike day of adventure. Lodge facilities are available just a short walk from your campsite, for adventurers who want a little extra.

The campsites are situated on the grassy bank of the Kwando river under shady trees. They are equipped with private ablution blocks and power points. Campers are welcome to make use of the lodge facilities. Breakfast excluded.
An approximate 3 hour long game drive into the Bwabata National Park. Park entrance fees, short boat transfer, snacks and refreshments included. Departures at 8h00 in the morning and at 15h00 in the afternoon.

Join a guided fishing trip and catch species such as catfish, tilapia, nambwe and tigerfish. 2 persons per boat. Boat and basic tackle and bait are included. A fishing license can be obtained from the Lodge but is not included in the rate. Lost lure at N$60 per lure, drinks on own account. Please enquire at reception about departure times and duration.
History was made on the banks of the Kwando River in 2014 when the Gondwana Collection and Mashi community members opened the Namushasha Heritage Centre in a private sector-conservancy collaboration, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of the eastern Zambezi Region.
