Originally a sanctuary for the endemic Hartmann’s mountain-zebras of Namibia, The Namib-Naukluft National Park is now also home to numerous cliff-breeding bird species like the Black Eagle, as well as other wildlife. Naukluft is also the home of five unique groups of vegetation. Naukluft Camp is a true geological wonder, with immense and varied geological formations — most famously the world’s only solo dolomite (the Gritty Dolomite). The Naukluft Camp is an excellent base camp from which hikers can access various trails.
