Torra Bay Campsite is a well-known fishing retreat and also provides the perfect facilities for well-prepared campers who are not daunted by extreme cold (including in the summer). Torra Bay Campsite is a seasonal retreat and thus only opens to the public during December and January. The Skeleton Coast gets its name from the various beaches dotted with old shipwrecks and whale skeletons.
Consists of 60 neat campsites. Electricity is available at selected sites and a daily rate for the electricity is payable at the campsite’s shop. Powered sites are strictly available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Include birdwatching, walking along the beach, surfing, and fishing. Anglers will be delighted to know that Torra Bay is well-known for quantity and variety of fish thanks to the Atlantic current.
